We are so grateful to have sold our house in this market for a fair price. For cash! But, it's not entirely yippy-skippy. One of the conditions was to get out fast. So I've been packing like a whirling dervish. I'm exhausted. And I admit it, cranky. Especially pre-coffee... SO cranky.
Our God-sent wonderful perfect wealthy foreign buyers are starting to get on our nerves. Every time we turn around there they are... trying to sneak back in. They've measured and photographed and examined everything at least twice. We've shown them multiple times how to adjust the thermostat, how to lock the door, how the fireplace works, how the light timers work, where the water softner is. I've handed over a 3" binder with every existing house-related manual.
We're getting a little short on patience around here.
Yesterday I was packing and came across a city map, which I set aside for our buyers. Then I came across my container of "QuakeHold" putty.
Hmmmm.
I set it aside also. Later that day I came across the most alarming book in my library... the Earthquake Survival Guide.
So... what do you think? Should I hand these over to the new buyers?
Mean?
Or thoughtful? : )
